ECHO Idaho COVID-19 Panel

Led by a panel of experts, ECHO Idaho helps participants learn best practices for responding to the COVID-19 pandemic in Idaho.

Connect with peers from around the state to ask questions and discuss best practices with an interdisciplinary panel of experts. In these uncertain times, ECHO Idaho’s COVID-19 series will create a dialogue among clinicians about treating this infectious disease and help identify helpful resources.

When

Tuesday, March 24, 2020 from Noon - 1:30 p.m. MT

  • You are not required to attend the entire session!
  • To be responsive to Idaho’s time zones, and to accommodate busy schedules, the format of this special session will be a didactic presentation, Q&A, repeated didactic presentation.
  • We encourage you to drop-in to catch one of the two didactic presentations.

Target Audience

The purpose of this series is to equip Idaho’s healthcare workforce, including providers, clinicians, policymakers, administrators and others with strategies to address challenges presented as a result of the novel coronavirus pandemic.

Cost

Participation in ECHO Idaho is free for clinicians and organizations.

Schedule

The first COVID-19 session is scheduled for Tuesday, March 24, Noon - 1:30p.m MT. As more sessions are confirmed, we will update our registered attendees.

Physicians

The University of Idaho, WWAMI Medical Education Program is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The University of Idaho, WWAMI Medical Education Program designates each live activity for a maximum of 1.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Physician Assistants

For the purpose of re-licensure, the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) accepts AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ issued by organizations accredited by the ACCME (Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education). To be considered continuing education, the session(s) are required to be germane to your practice. Final acceptance of the credit for recertification resides with your state board. 

Nurse Practitioners and Registered Nurses

For the purpose of re-licensure, the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board and American Nurses Credentialing Center accept AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ issued by organizations accredited by the ACCME (Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education). To be considered continuing education, the session(s) are required to be germane to your practice. Final acceptance of the credit for recertification resides with your state board.

Social Workers, Counselors, Marriage and Family Therapists

The Idaho Bureau of Occupational Licenses recognizes the University of Idaho, WWAMI Medical Education Program as an approved provider of continuing education. To be considered continuing education, the session(s) are required to be germane to your practice.

Participants from states outside of Idaho are welcome and encouraged to attend! Please check with your state certification and licensure boards for specific considerations regarding claiming continuing education for participation in ECHO Idaho programs.

Alcohol and Drug Counselors (CADC/ACADC/CPS)

The Idaho Board of Alcohol and Drug Counselor Certification (IBADCC) recognizes the University of Idaho, WWAMI Medical Education Program as an approved provider of continuing education.
