What is IMA Foundation?
The IMA Foundation is the 501(c)3 arm of the Idaho Medical Association that supports Idaho’s physician training programs and workforce.
The Foundation’s goals are to:

Support Idaho medical education and residency training through individual scholarships and organizational contributions

Support loan repayment and other activities to recruit and encourage physicians to practice in Idaho

Support and provide resources for practicing physicians to improve the quality and accessibility of healthcare for Idaho patients

Future Physicians of Idaho Awards
Awards are for 4th year medical students who have matched to an Idaho-based residency program and for residents in the final year of training who are in good standing in an Idaho-based residency program and who will practice in an under-served Idaho community upon completion of residency.
