Assistant Clinical Dean for WWAMI Idaho
The University of Washington School of Medicine WWAMI program is seeking an Assistant Clinical Dean for WWAMI Idaho. The Assistant Clinical Dean job is a half-time position with responsibilities for developing, coordinating, and maintaining clinical medical education activities in Idaho. This position is based in Idaho and will require some travel. It is expected that the physician who fills this role will continue to be active in Idaho’s medical community. Other tasks include serving as a representative and advocate for UWSOM and WWAMI in a number of venues, as well as acting as a liaison between Idaho clinical educators and faculty at the UWSOM. The position reports directly to the Vice Dean for Regional Affairs, with links to both the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs and the Vice Dean for Clinical Affairs and Graduate Medical Education.
We are seeking an experienced physician who is board certified and licensed in Idaho. Past experience must include active participation in medical education and experience in administration. Primary care experience, prior leadership in a medical organization, and prior involvement with WWAMI is preferred. A complete job description is available on request.
